My September Movies Round-Up

I feel like I say this every month but this year is flying by! We are into October and into the final stretch of 2012. Will I make it to 300? I think so, but you never know!

My biggest issue with September was that I was busy nearly every weekend which is usually when I catch up on my movie watching. It didn’t put me too far behind but I need to make up for some slow months now that the weather is starting to turn and the daylight is getting shorter.

I got a new blu-ray player and receiver in my setup at home, so I definitely plan on putting them to good use for the rest of the year! I also got accepted to the LAMB.

Don’t forget to like Andy Watches Movies on Facebook and follow me Twitter if you want to know more of what I’m up to!

  1. Very nice, for me I reviewed…just short of twice that many. All September releases too, lol. I also really like how you kept track of the viewing method

    • I really didn’t have time to get caught up, I usually can watch 3-4 movies in a weekend but I had no time to do that.

    • A lot of them were classics, and viewed in a theater, no less! You should really watch it, it’s a remarkable film.

    • I had worked on one a few months back but it just took too much time to do monthly. I will most likely do one for the year, though.

  2. You’re doing so well! Wow, I’ve only seen 2 films out of that list…! Shocking. ‘The African Queen’ and ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’ – wow, great film and what a stellar cast! Good luck with the rest of the challenge. And you’re dead right, the year is whizzing past! 😦

  3. I’m in love with the way you do your stats (avg. rating, total runtime and method of watching especially) and I think I might have to steal some of these ideas for TMP next year! (With credit, of course.) Can you believe there are only 3 monthly wrap-ups until 2012 is over?

    • Please do use them! I like the way I track that stuff too, so I’d be happy to see someone else take the torch, so to speak.
And no, I cannot believe we’re nearly halfway through October already too.
