Who would play you in a movie? (Friday Question Fun)

Past Friday Question Fun entries

Wow, I can’t believe it is freaking NOVEMBER, you guys. November. Wow…

Anyway, let’s get to the question for this week!

In a movie about your life, who would play you?

Could be living or dead and doesn’t have to look like you

Although a movie about my life would be incredibly boring, my top choice to play me would actually be someone that looks a lot like me. Logan Marshall-Green from Prometheus. Don’t believe me?

Logan + Andy = Awesome

Well, it’s kind of an old picture of me, but my point remains. I just wish I was as ripped as Logan in Prometheus. At least the movie version of me would be a badass…

So what about you?

  1. I love Logan Marshall-Green! I’m a closet The O.C fan… it’s my one girlish drama television indulgence. Ah, lucky you. Does anybody ever point it out to you?

I have no idea who would play me, I would like to think maybe Uma Thurman if we were the same age. But like, a short Uma Thurman. It might confuse some viewers to have a tall lady portraying a 5 ft 1 inch person.

Other than that, I’ve only ever been told that I look like Dobby the House Elf. So, I guess he’ll do.

    • When The OC was on, people would but not so much anymore. Logan’s gotten progressively better looking and more fit and I’ve…Not. So that might play into it too.

Ha I think Uma is a better choice than Dobby, height be damned

  2. Apparently I look like Paul Walker……..who if you have never seen a fast & furious film you will never have heard of :). If I could choose anyone though, I would say Jared Leto as I love him.

  3. My wife, God Bless her, says that James Woods would be the one to play me. She says he would be the closest to approaching my quirky nature. I think Christopher Walken would be just as good of a choice.

  4. Obviously it would be a cross between George Clooney and Schwarzenegger from the 80s. But knowing my luck they would cast some no-name for my straight-to-DVD life story film 😦

  5. Hmmn. I guess it depends on who others say you look like (Quite a broad range: Ewan McGregor, Zach Braff, Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter and bizarrely Hugh Grant have all been touted in the past) and who you’d like to play you (Michael Fassbender – best actor around at the moment hands down)

  6. Jason Bateman ~ Arrested Development years but he’d have to grow some facial hair and be able to do complex diagams on white boards.

  7. Not sure on this one – someone quirky and kind of off beat to capture my true self, but as far as looks go people have said I resemble Bruce Willis or Michael Chickllis when my head is completely shaved. I can see Michael, but not Bruce.

  8. Robert De Niro 😉 Him playing a seventeen-year old, it would seem quite likely, wouldn’t it? Logan Lerman’s pretty good, as he proved his acting skills in ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’. But the one actor who would probably be the most convincing is: Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films. Mostly because he’s often cowardly, but shines through when he’s really needed. My life story won’t be very interesting either, lol. It would just be a guy watching a movie theatre screen. Exciting, right? I guess if that’s all it is, they should get Morgan Freeman to play me and he could just narrate the whole damn thing.

  9. When I was a kid people often told me I looked like a young Joaquin Phoenix, and oddly enough he would probably play me well. Though, he is quite a bit older than me now. Also, I’d think it’d be awesome if Tom Hardy played me, only to make me look like an extremely muscular man.

  10. My husband nominated Winona Ryder or Christina Ricci — probably because they both have big eyes and so do I. Personally, I’d much rather have Kate Winslet 🙂

  11. Love this question!! because it is my dream Ava Gardner to play me… she can totally pull it off! Intimidation, mystery, raw beauty, sensuality, ingredients I may or may not posess but sound awesome!
BTW my have has been pretty cool and full with adventure… would make a decent tv movie LOL.

  12. People always tell me I look like Sandra Bullock, so I would say her. But I would love Helen Mirren to play me like 30 years from now…..If I could look that good at that age!!

  13. Tyson will probably be jealous of this (as it’s his favourite actor) but I’ve often been compared to a young DeNiro. You probably can’t tell from my profile photo and personally I think I’m better looking 😉 but it has been said by numerous different people and luckily he’s also my favourite actor into the bargain.

  14. This is a good question! I don’t really look like any actors (I don’t think?) but I would pick Lena Dunham because I love her and I feel like she would “get” me for some reason.

  15. It’s kind of funny how I often watch movies and the characters/actors look like some of my relatives/friends, but none of them really ever look like me. Maybe someone who can do a speech impediment (I’ve been told I have one, but I’ve never actually noticed), or someone who speaks before thinking. Oh yeah, Joe Biden! Just take the age away and he’s perfect. 😉

  16. Great question! Based on resemblance alone – Justin Timberlake, but I would probably choose Joseph Gordon-Levitt because the role would require the full spectrum including whimsy and introspection.
