One month to go, people! I’m excited, are you?
November was kind of a hectic month for me, but I still managed to watch a fair amount of movies. I’m a bit behind in writing some of my reviews, but due to my vacation, I wanted to get this post out of the way so I can just get back to writing. I will come back and link to all the reviews once I finish writing them, though.
I have my goal of 300 movies in sight, I can see the finish line and I think I can make it in time. Being gone for a week kind of slowed me down, though. Soon, I’m going to have a brainstorming thread so I can hear from you guys what you think my goal(s) should be for 2013!
Also, be sure to check out Nostalgiathon, still going strong.

Wow! You’re doing awesome. I have no doubt you’ll each 300. Are you going to watch the movie 300 for the 300th film.
Haha I thought about it but I’m sure it will end up being some sort of Christmas movie
Looks like you had a good month. I await your review of Life of Pi. I thought it was one of the best films thus far this year.
I think so too though I thought the ending was a bit too brief.
Man, I would love to be able to squeeze in half the films you’ve managed Andy. I’m seriously flagging and fell way behind on my blog. I’ve a backlog of reviews to get through. I’m hoping the new year will bring a new lease of life. Anyway, well done buddy. Keep at it.
I’m stuck in a backlog of about 11 films for review and my blog reading backlog is up to about 1400…
I’ve got to focus on writing more than reading. I’m hoping that next year I can focus more on writing more than just quick reviews, but we’ll see. Well done to you too!
Well done Andy. You’re on the final stretch now and you probably have some fantastic Christmas movies lined up to keep you going! Good luck, I’m sure you will make it.
I tend to watch Christmas movies in excess and sometimes even on repeat 😉
Thanks!
Congrats on entering the home stretch! I admire your commitment – I find this time of year I fall behind on pretty much everything. Looking forward to the grand finale of Andy Watches Movies 2012!
I don’t know how you do it, but congrats. It appears you went on a Criterion spending spree.
I love my Criterions
Well done and good luck. 400 in 2013!
Oh man…I might be able to do that if I worked from home and could just have a movie on in the background all day long
You can do it! I believe in you! Yay! Woo! Rah rah rah! Go Andy!
The most support one man can show through a WordPress Comment. Oh, did I mention comments are sexy. Because they are. Amen. The end. Fin.
Yay me!
Comments ARE sexy
wow!! 300 in a year?? I didn’t even reach 100. And I have a lot of TVseries marathon lately and lessen my time to watch movies.
I like how you can manage your time to make that stat…I am too lazy to do such thing 😉
Yeah, it’s been a little more than normal but not too much. I have let my TV watching fall behind, though. Next year I’d like to get back into TV.
The stats were actually what came up first. I wanted to track the number of movies I watched in a year and I was doing that for a few weeks before realizing I should try to make a goal and then I started this blog!
Good month – almost there. It’ll be interesting to see what you say about your number 27 movie.
People Vs. George Lucas? It was interesting to watch but also makes me really glad I’m not THAT much of a Star Wars fan despite having my basement littered with memorabilia
Nice stats 😉 Hope you reach 300. I’ll be cheering you on, buddy!
December is half over, I’m so close!
